Kailua Beach Adventures is the most complete water sports company in Hawaii with an emphasis on improving stewardship for our natural environment through education and enjoyment. We provide kayak rentals, snorkeling gear, stand up paddle boards and beach activities. While kayak deliveries are not permitted to the beach, our shop is located one block from Kailua Beach Park with free parking, showers, locker rentals and dressing rooms for your convenience. We do prove free carts for walking or free car racks if you prefer to drive your kayak. Free delivery is also available to vacation rentals along Kailua and Lanikai Beach. Kailua Beach is located in a small beach town on the lush, eastern shore of Oahu, thirty minutes from Honolulu and Waikiki Beach. >Hawaii lies in the tropical climate zone where the air is moderated by the warm ocean waters making for a pleasing year round temperature between 70-90 degrees F (21-32 C). Kailua never requires a wet suit, even in the middle of February, making Kailua one of the best water sports destinations in the world!

Paddling in a kayak rental from Kailua Beach to the Mokulua Islands, a protected bird sanctuary with a beautiful beach, is an unforgettable adventure and the perfect spot for a picnic lunch. Lanikai Beach features turquoise blue waters, coral reefs, and large sea turtles in their native Hawaiian habitat. Top 3 Trips in Kailua Paddling a kayak to the famed Mokulua or "Twin Islands" is an absolute must. Leaving from Kailua Beach, you'll pass Popo'a Island and Lanikai Beach on the way. Paddle through sea turtle feeding grounds and coral reef gardens. On the Islands find a secluded white sand beach and Queen's Bath tide pool. -See Guided Kayak Tours Stand Up Paddling is our fastest growing sport and Kailua is a perfect place to learn on light wind days. Practice first in the canal "Kaeleplulu Stream" to get the hand of balance and turning. Then head to the ocean for a short paddle to Flat Island, or Moku Popoia, home to a fascinating breed of seabirds. We offer paddle board rentals as well as a 2-Hour lesson that includes free lunch, snorkel gear and hotel pick-up!
-See Stand Up Paddling Lessons Kailua is also a great town for bicycles with mild topography and miles of bike paths. You can bike east to Lanikai Beach for the best snorkeling on the windward side, or head to the Kailua Shopping District to find your new favorite boutique and restuarants. The Kawainui Marsh has a levi-trail that offers great bird watching along the wetlands. Rent a bike from our shop for a half day or a week and get in on the fun!
